For my t-shirt screen printing I was going to do a snake however I didn't want to copy the Gucci brand so instead of a snake, i wrote the word "GOAT" in Japanese. I wanted to do something different and unique. I personally think Japanese writing is extremely unique and chose the word GOAT because i know for a fact that I'm the "Greatest of All Time". I'm just kidding but i chose the word because that word very popular in today's society. I chose to do the color red because the shirt I screen printed on was a dark grey and i felt that I needed a color that would stand out on the shirt . I messed up screen printing on my shirt doing 2 things. 1) I didn't use a sharp razor at the beginning of my project because I didn't realize how a dull razor would affect how clean cut my text would be. So the text looks a little rough however it ended up to look cool on the shirt, i sorta gave it my own font. 2) when i was applying the paint to my screen I accidentally got some of the paint under the screen making it go in my shirt however I managed to pull it off by adding some slimey looking drops. It looks like blood is dripping which makes the text even cooler looking. I am pleased with my screen printing project and can't wait to wear my shirt.
